This sculpture portrays a working man in motion, carrying a clay jar on his shoulder. With a cloth head wrap and a slight backward lean, his body adjusts to balance the weight.
His mouth is open as if calling out, focused and natural—suggesting a figure moving through streets and alleys, walking forward for livelihood.
The jar rests close to his shoulder while the arm supports it instinctively. Loose trousers and a short top fold and shift with each step, creating a steady posture with clear forward momentum.
Hand-shaped from natural clay and left unpainted, the piece preserves the earthy tone and fired texture of the material. Slightly exaggerated proportions in the folds and limbs remain grounded in the rhythm of real life.
This is not a recorded historical character, but an everyday presence once repeated across towns and streets—quietly walking, carrying the weight of life.
Display suggestion: Ideal for entryways, living rooms, or study shelves. A collectible handmade sculpture that adds a sense of movement, labor, and storytelling depth to modern interiors.
